About

Meet Antwuan Martin, LCSW

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Saint Leo University, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in psychology. As a proud veteran, I bring a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to my practice.
My diverse clinical background encompasses significant experience in crisis intervention and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), with a particular focus on working with adults and veterans.
My primary focus is on providing compassionate support to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and those who have experienced traumatic events.

My Treatment Methods

Motivational Interviewing

Over the past three years, I have utilized Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a therapeutic intervention. This approach has proven effective in assisting clients in clarifying and articulating their own motivations for change. In sessions, we will employ MI techniques to facilitate your self-discovery and exploration of your underlying motivations for seeking change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in identifying negative thoughts and triggers associated with traumatic experiences. CBT is a widely recognized approach to addressing trauma, enabling individuals to actively pinpoint specific situations, people, places, sounds, smells, or even thoughts that consistently evoke intense emotional.

It’s time to make your well-being a priority.
